Lisa Ledden, FNP-BC

Lisa has been specializing in dermatology since 1996. She has had a broad background in civilian and military medicine. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts in 1985, she was awarded a military commission and accepted a competitive internship with the US Air Force. As an officer, she was part of a field medicine deployment team practicing trauma, emergency, and critical care nursing. In 1991, she was awarded the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal. After seven years of service, Lisa left the armed forces as a captain in order to pursue civilian medicine. She accepted a position as a nurse manager of the Heart Group of Oklahoma and then went on to manage the emergency services at Milford Memorial Hospital in Delaware while pursuing her master’s degree in nursing at Wilmington College in Georgetown, DE where she developed a special interest in dermatology. As an adjunct professor at Wilmington College, Lisa fostered her interest in dermatology and then relocated to Michigan to practice dermatology with specialized learning in cosmetic and surgical dermatology. Missing the East Coast, Lisa relocated to Southern New Jersey to join Certified Dermatology.

David Zweiback, MD

Dr. Zweiback a board-certified internist and dermatologist that has committed his practice to medical and cosmetic dermatology for many years.  He previously had his own med spa, Internal medicine practice, and has injected thousands of patients with botox and filler. He also performs PRP for the face and scalp,  facelift threading, and skin resurfacing. He has been in practice for over 25 years and had many close and meaningful connections with many people over the years that have cherished the depth of his skill, knowledge, and ability to relate to any patient.  He is well versed in performing laser treatments of many types and he is an expert in discerning the best treatment regimen for the medical and esthetic patient. On another note, he is also a professional musician, which has enabled him to relate in a different but similar way to his patients, communities, and to musical venues on the east coast and elsewhere. This added skill set only further refines his ability to connect, educate and make all patients feel very comfortable, informed and adds a human element to his medical style.

Chuck Sidwa, PA-C

Charles, a New Jersey native, is a certified physician assistant with 14 years of dermatology experience. He has been trained extensively in all clinical, surgical and aesthetic dermatological applications. With his aesthetic and clinical dermatology expertise, he serves adult, adolescent and pediatric patients. Charles’ areas of expertise include clinical dermatology, particularly prevention, and identification and surgical intervention of skin cancers.

Vinny Polizio, PA-C

Vincent is a certified physician assistant who treats pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. He joined the practice (now Certified Dermatology) in 2000, and is one of our longest-tenured providers. Over the years Vincent helped redesign the dermatology curriculum for the Sisters of Charity Medical Center Physician Assistant Program at Bayley Seton Hospital in Staten Island, NY. He was also a lecturer at that program for several years and enjoyed introducing new physician assistants to dermatology. Currently, Vincent takes pride in being a dermatology preceptor and educator for the Wagner College Physician Assistant Program in Staten Island, where he trains students in dermatologic medicine and diseases of the skin. Vincent believes in patient education for the detection, prevention and treatment of skin cancer and other skin disorders. He stresses a partnership between the patient, the patient’s family and the practitioner for a better overall outcome for the patient.

Dr. Shazia Saif

Dr. Saif graduated from Gandhi Medical School in India in 2000. She completed her Internal Medicine training at JHMC New York and received ABIM certification in Aug, 2005. She had extensive training in various dermatological procedures and diagnosis and management of skin conditions. She has was awarded the Patients Choice Award in 2010 based on her patient’s ratings and dedicated patient care. Her name was listed in”Guide to America’s Top Physicians” published by Consumer’s Research Council of America 2012.

Ritu Gupta, NP

Ritu is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and is licensed to practice in states of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. She graduated from MSN program at Drexel University, Philadelphia. She has continuing education in Primary Care in Orthopedics and Sports injuries from Harvard Medical School, Boston and in dermatology modalities from American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). She is also certified in aesthetics by American Academy of Procedural Medicine (AAOPM). She also has a Master’s degree in Polymer Chemistry from Tuskegee University, Alabama, where she received US Army Research Office funding in developing non-hazardous polymeric and bio-medical composites. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Delhi University, India.

She has been awarded by New Jersey Department of Labor—“Garden State Education & Training Achievement” recognition. She is also a member of American Med Spa Association and American Chemical Society. She treats patients of all ages, and practices medical, surgical and cosmetic (medical weight loss, anti-aging, Botox/Dysport, fillers, PRP for hair loss and pain, sclerotherapy, facial thread lift and laser treatment for hair removal and skin disorders) dermatology.

Her previous work experiences also include working as a unit supervisor and MDS coordinator in a continued care retirement community in Princeton, New Jersey data validation researcher and clinician in pharmaceutical firms (Merck, J&J) in New Jersey, a research chemist at DuPont, Delaware, and also as a Business Analyst in Bell Labs, Piscataway, NJ.

She enjoys yoga, meditation, traveling and cooking in her leisure time.

Donna Yanusz, NP

Donna is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who has specialized in dermatology since 2004. She was the first in the practice to achieve board certification as a dermatology nurse practitioner. She attended school in Boston, MA, where she received the Caring Award from her peers and professors. Soon after, she moved back to New Jersey and cared for patients with neurological disorders. During this time, she contributed to the publication of articles about the vagus nerve stimulator in the treatment of patients with epilepsy. After completing her masters degree in Baltimore, MD, she spent four years working in the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital before returning to New Jersey to begin her career as a nurse practitioner. Donna treats skin disease in all age groups, from infants to seniors.I enjoy working with my patients. We are a team in their dermatologic care. I want them to remember how I advise them but also how good they felt after they were treated

Ela Tenpenny, NP

Ela Tenpenny is an experienced Adult Nurse Practitioner with a demonstrated 20 year history of working in the dermatological medical practice industry. Ela is skilled in diagnosis and patient treatment. She enjoys Clinical Research, Medical Education with adults and geriatrics, dermatological surgery and cosmetic dermatology. Ela is a strong healthcare services professional with a Master of Science (MS) focused in Advance Practice Nursing from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
